Women’s Rodeo Championships and NBHA announce Sidepots at 2025-6 Barrel Races
The Women’s Rodeo Championships (WRC), in partnership with the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA), proudly announces the inclusion of Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) Sidepots at five prestigious NBHA barrel racing events in 2025 and 2026. These sidepots offer athletes a chance to compete for added money and secure direct qualifications to the 2026 WRWC.

We are proud to continue championing the growth of women’s rodeo and can’t wait to see our athletes shine on the WRWC stage.”
Participating Events Offering WRWC Sidepots:

The highest placing Pro and the highest placing Challenger will receive automatic qualifications, along with up to eight Limited athletes, consisting of the top two highest placing entries in each division (D). To be eligible, NBHA members will have the option to enter the two WRWC packages in SaddleBook.
Additionally, Pro and Challenger athletes who wish to earn points toward the 2025 WRWC Leaderboard must nominate these events through the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ). Nominating an event with WRWC means the VRQ Team will track your results for the event. Nominations for the 2026 event are now open.
