
NBHA Returns to Texas to Kick Off the 2019 Abilene Super Show

The National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) is excited to host the 2019 Abilene Super Show on June 28-30 at the Expo Center of Taylor County in Abilene, Texas. Open, youth and senior races are scheduled to run as part of the event, which are predicted to draw avid barrel races from across the great state of Texas. Barrel racers will compete throughout the event for their share of $12,000 added money.
“The NBHA first visited Abilene in 1997. Over the years, we have returned 8 times and we are thrilled to have Abilene back on our tour schedule. Texas is passionate about barrel racing and along with Jimmie Munroe, our NBHA Texas State Director, we look forward to an exciting show this year and to establishing Abilene as a regular stop on our tour” states NBHA Executive Director Sherry Fulmer. “There is no better time and place to join and ride.”
The NBHA Abilene Super Show is a WPRA approved event and is also affiliated with the World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA).Exhibitions are available on Friday June 28, between 10 AM and 4 PM. A full schedule is available on the NBHA website.
Barrel racers may pre-enter the NBHA Abilene Super Show by visiting the NBHA website at www.NBHA.com and downloading the entry form. Entries must be postmarked by June 7, 2019. Alternatively, riders may join NBHA and enter onsite in Abilene, Texas. Entries are accepted up to 2 hours before the start of race time each day.
